HUDDERSFIELD REACTION | ISAAK DAVIES

Forward Isaak Davies spoke with Cardiff City TV following the dramatic late 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town at CCS on Saturday afternoon.

Davies came off the subs bench to assist City's winner, beating his man before putting in a delightful cross, that was headed home by Kieffer Moore.

"It was really special, especially because we got the win," the City Academy graduate began. "I was delighted to assist the winner and hopefully we can carry on from here now.

"I've had to be patient. I've had a few injuries. But that has made it even sweeter now. It was unbelievable though. The fans are always great. Even when we were on a bad spell, they were with us. We've got to thank them for making it a great atmosphere around the place."

Davies has now made two appearances for City's First Team, and he discussed the Academy system and players getting opportunities at senior level. He continued: "There's a pathway now with the Club and it is great for the young boys to come through. All the senior boys are great with us and you can't ask for much more really.

"It's a privilege to play for Cardiff City. I've dreamt of it all my life. It's a special moment and I just want more."
