Yousef Salech spoke to Cardiff City TV following City’s dramatic 4-3 win over Leyton Orient.
“It was amazing.” Yousef began. “I think it was very entertaining for everyone watching, and for me it feels great to win these types of games where it’s been up and down with a lot of goals, but getting the three points is the most important part.
"The energy in the stadium was amazing, particularly when we got the goal to make it 3-3 and then for the rest of the game. We cannot underestimate or underrate how much the supporters give us at home when they’re fully behind us. I think that was a big difference in the end today, and hopefully they can continue to do it for the rest of the season."

The Great Dane was introduced in the second half from the bench and was able to make a huge impact on today’s outcome.
“We have a big squad with a lot of quality which showed today with the impact the bench had. It’s happened a few times this season where I’ve been able to come off the bench and make an impact, against Wimbledon and Stockport where I’ve scored.
“Callum [Robinson] and I haven’t really played together at the start of the season, but the last few games we’ve started to play together. I don’t mind playing with or without him, but we offer something very different as strikers and we make it very difficult for the other teams when we are on the pitch together. Hopefully that continues.”

When asked about Nathan Trott’s contributions, Yousef added: “He’s a very, very good goalkeeper and he has been amazing throughout the season. Not only the save he made at the end of the game, but even when it was still 0-0, he made some incredible saves throughout the game. He’s a very talented goalkeeper."
And on looking ahead to Tuesday’s Vertu Trophy fixture against Newport County, Yousef concluded: “We're really looking forward to playing again. It’s our job and it’s the days that we like best so hopefully it’s a good game and hopefully we can win again.”
