Maddison Perrott has joined the Bluebirds, becoming our second signing of the summer.

A dynamic attacker, Maddison has previous experience of featuring for Bristol City and Gwalia United.

The 18-year-old has also represented Wales at age-grade level, from U15s up to U19s.

Her arrival is the second acquisition made ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, along with midfielder Helen Evans from The New Saints.

After becoming a Bluebird, Maddison said: "It's been great to train with the girls so far. The group have welcomed me really well and the staff have been brilliant. Training has been really sharp and I'm excited to get the season running.

"It's a great environment for me to keep improving my game and keep learning. I've been impressed with the standards here and you can see the ambition. We have a squad full of players that I can learn from and I'm hoping to follow in their footsteps with the success that they've had.

"I would say that I've got a really attacking mindset, but I'm a team player and I can't wait to play in front of the fans."

Iain Darbyshire and Maddison Perrott

Head coach Iain Darbyshire added: "We're delighted to bring Maddison to the Club. She's been on trial with us for a few weeks now and has shown that she has good energy, pace and fitness levels.

"She plays with a lot of freedom and directness, meaning she's a player that I'm sure will excite our fans. We're excited to have her and she'll add a different dimension to our group."
