City Women continued their Adran Premier campaign with an away win over Barry Town United on Sunday afternoon.
MATCH SUMMARY
The Bluebirds went ahead early in the contest as midfielder Mia Malone celebrated her first City start with a goal, firing in from close-range.
Ffion Price then got in on the act to double the advantage with a shrewd finish into the bottom corner.
In the second half, Barry Town United attacker India Shanahan found the net to halve their deficit, but the points were secured by striker Haile Richards, who was on-hand to fire in after Mackenzie Olden had been denied by the goalkeeper.
Late on, substitute Gillian Keenan made a fantastic impact as she raced through and struck into the bottom corner in added-time.

"It was great to get the three points this past Sunday. Ultimately, the table reflects how we've been doing so it's important to get those points on the board. Hopefully, we can continue that over these next few games.
"It was a difficult game against Briton Ferry Llansawel. They made it tough for us and to come from behind in the game, we did well. There were times that we could have done better but we dug deep and got the win, which is the most important thing.
"Preparations have been going well for Sunday. The aim is always for that to reflect on the pitch come the weekend. Hopefully, our fans can come out and support us away in Barry as we're expecting a tough test.
"I'll always look forward to a good challenge. Sunday's game is one we're excited for and one we'll do our best in."
OPPOSITION FOCUS
Sunday’s opponents currently sit at the foot of the Adran Premier table having been defeated in their opening three matches this season.
Their campaign began with a 4-1 defeat at home against Briton Ferry Llansawel, before a 9-1 loss to The New Saints and a 7-0 defeat to Wrexham.
There is a familiar face in Barry Town United’s lineup, with former Bluebird Amy Long making the move to Jenner Park over the summer.
Their squad also includes City U19 products India Shanahan, Ruby Medcraft, Holly Jones, Lauren Payne and Paige Parsons.
