City Women continue their Adran Premier campaign with a home clash against Cardiff Met.
The fixture will take place at Cardiff International Sports Campus on Sunday, October 4th with a kick-off time of 2pm.
PRE-MATCH | NOAH BUSHBY
“Preparations have been good for Sunday’s game. The squad are playing with confidence and you can see that the things that we have been working on since the start of pre-season are now becoming more natural.
“Cardiff Met have had a decent start to the season. They are an organised team and they hold a good shape. They’ve had some good results; got a draw against Briton Ferry and beat Aberystwyth so we’re expecting a difficult game. We’ll have to find ways to play confidently against them.
“There are players coming back into the squad who are working on their minutes to get back up to full fitness. That is a boost for us. Everyone is on board and is working hard towards what we’re trying to achieve. You can see the talent of the squad and everyone is getting used to each other now.”
PRE-MATCH | FFION PRICE
“Spirits are really high within the squad right now. We’ve been working hard in training and that has been showing on a Sunday in our recent games. You can see that we’re gelling well which is great.
“It’s about time that I got on the scoresheet in our last game but it’s not about me, it’s always about the team winning and anything I can do to contribute towards that. It was a good performance from us against Barry.
“We started the season with a couple of tough games but it was always going to take time for us with a new squad. It’s nice to see that the things that we’ve been working on in training is translating onto the pitch.”
