City Women play their first home fixture of the 2026/27 campaign as they host Wrexham AFC Women.
The fixture will be played at Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday, September 13th with a kick-off time of 5:15pm.

"Sunday's fixture will be a great occasion that we're looking forward to. The opportunity to play at Cardiff City Stadium is always something that we enjoy, and we'll aim to get a positive result for our fans.
"Training this week has been at a very high level and it's clear that the squad are eager to bounce back. The result on the opening day was frustrating because we created good chances and had large spells in the game where we were on top. This is a new squad that are gelling, and I'm confident that we'll continue to improve.
"Wrexham will provide a stern test and we're relishing the challenge of going head-to-head with them. We had some great battles with them last season and Sunday should be no different.
"The support that we had from our fans at Swansea was fantastic. They got behind our squad for the entire 90 minutes and we always appreciate their support. The fans will have a big part to play on Sunday, and we'll approach the game with togetherness."

“This is the perfect opportunity for us to bounce back. It really stung to lose a derby. We know how big that is and we wanted to start our season off well. The aim is to put that right on Sunday and it’s a big game at the stadium against Wrexham. All of us will be up for it and we’ll look to show everyone what we’re made of.
“We have the character in the squad to bounce back. There are so many new players in the squad and we’ve gelled really well so far, that will only get better. Our mindset is one of getting as many wins and points as we can. The targets are very clear and we’re all on board with them.
“These are games that you want to be involved in. We know the challenge that Wrexham will bring, they have a strong squad and have recruited well over the summer, so they’ll be fighting for the win on Sunday. We know what to expect and training this week has been working towards that.
“Being a Cardiff City fan, playing at CCS is special. You don’t want to be playing anywhere else. It will be a great occasion and we’re excited to see our fans get behind us.”
