Head Coach Tony Mowbray returned to the Club during the summer having previously managed the side from 2017-2022. After arriving late in the campaign, Mowbray was unable to save Rovers from relegation to League One in 2017, but they bounced back with an immediate promotion to the Championship.
Rovers have won two and lost three at home so far this term.
They defeated Middlesbrough at Ewood Park on the second weekend of the season and Millwall in their last home game on September 12th. However, they were defeated by Sheffield United twice (once in Carabao Cup action) and QPR in between their two triumphs.

KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | MOWBRAY'S WORDS
Ahead of Saturday's clash, Tony Mowbray spoke about his desire to play exciting football.
The Blackburn Rovers boss said: "I’m fully aware in the second half of last season, when Michael O’Neill was here, the team was very solid, playing 5-4-1 and weren’t conceding many goals.
“It goes against what I believe in when it comes to how we play football, although that’s not to say there’s a right way or a wrong way. However, whilst I’m in charge, I’d like to play positive, front-foot football.
“If we do concede a few more goals than we did in the second half of last season, that’s okay, but just as long as we’re scoring more than we concede.
“I don’t think that’s reckless. It’s not an attitude of ‘let’s score one more than them’, because I think we have generally been pretty good in most games, yet it’s been a case of individual errors and moments in games where we need to be better.
“Let’s score some more goals, let’s get the fans out of their seats and cheering."
