KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | THE RED DRAGONS
City welcome Wrexham to South Wales for the first time in league action since March 2002.
The Red Dragons have enjoyed a highly publicised rise up the leagues since being taken over by Hollywood’s Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.
Under the tutelage of manager Phil Parkinson, they have won three promotions, battling from the National League to the Championship, while narrowly missing out on the play-offs last season.
Since we met them last October, our opponents have changed their squad in a number of ways. Over the summer, Danny Imray (right-back, Crystal Palace), Ben Whiteman (central-midfield) and Anthony Patterson (goalkeeper, Sunderland) joined the Club in big money deals.
In January, Zak Vyner (central defender, Bristol City), Davis Keillor-Dunn (forward, Barnsley) and Bailey Cadamarteri (forward, Sheffield Wednesday) linked up with Parkinson's side.
Former City striker Keiffer Moore remains a kay part of their attacking threat while last season's top goalscorer Josh Windass is said to be struggling with injury.

KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | WHAT THEIR GAFFER SAID
Phil Parkinson on Wrexham's clash with City: “When the fixture came out, everyone was instantly excited by it.
“It will be a good game, and one we're preparing well for.
“Having three Welsh teams in the Championship, it's enormous for the country. There will be a mini-league going on, and it’s going to be a challenge to win it.”
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | LAST TIME OUT
The aforementioned fixture between the Bluebirds and the Red Dragons last year took place in the Carabao Cup fourth round.
Brian Barry-Murphy’s side knocked out then Premier League Burnley in the round before, and went to Y Cae Ras full of confidence.
It was City who took the lead, with Yousef Salech firing in at close range after Omari Kellyman’s shot was saved.
As has often been the case, forward Kieffer Moore would score against his former team, making a near instant impact after coming off the bench at the interval.
It was defender Will Fish who had the final say in the tie, lashing home a well taken volley from a tight angle to secure City’s place in the quarter-finals.
