The Grecians sit 16th in the Sky Bet League One table with ten games remaining. They have 42 points, and a four point gap on the relegation zone at this stage.

Their only focus will be on returning to winning ways as soon as possible, having gone without three points for seven weeks. 10 games have passed since that away win at Port Vale, with five draws and five defeats.

Exeter's most recent game saw them lose by a single goal against Lincoln City on Tuesday night.

Former boss Matt Taylor returned to the Club at the start of the month, replacing Gary Caldwell.

KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | THE GRECIANS

Forward Jayden Wareham is Exeter City's top goalscorer this season. The 22-year-old former Reading man has 16 league goals from 36 appearances.

Josh Magennis will be a familiar name to the City support, having began his career with the Bluebirds. The powerful forward has found the net five times in 2025/26 league action.

In terms of assists, Ilmari Niskanen tops the way for the Grecians with ten.

Defender Pierce Sweeney is the current captain of Exeter City. Sweeney has spent ten years with the Grecians, joining from Reading in 2016. He initially left the Club during the summer of 2021, but rejoined a month later after agreeing to terminate his agreed deal with Swindon Town, never appearing for the Robins.

Alex Robertson celebrates his winning goal with his teammates.
EARLIER THIS SEASON

The Bluebirds and the Grecians have done battle twice this campaign already.

Our first trip to St James Park was in the Vertu Trophy, with BBM's men victorious, thanks to Callum Robinson's second half effort.

The two teams met again on Boxing Day, and it was a different Robbo that made the difference this term. Alex Robertson scored the only goal of the match at CCS.
