The Millers have had a resurgence in the past few weeks after a tough Christmas period. Rotherham suffered seven straight league defeats from December 10th until January 17th, before stopping the poor form with a home draw against AFC Wimbledon the following week.
They have since won twice on the bounce, defeating Northampton United at home and impressively hitting Exeter City for four on the road.
The recent improved results have helped the Millers hugely in the battle at the bottom end of the division. They currently have 31 points from 28 fixtures, with ten points separating those in the bottom four from the teams in mid-table as things stand.

09/02/21 | Rotherham United 1-2 Cardiff City
Our trips to the Millers in recent years have been regularly troubled by the weather, and this was also the case in 2021.
The start of the game looked fine, but by the second half, South Yorkshire was full of snow. The Bluebirds took the lead when Sheyi Ojo was freed by fellow Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson. The Millers levelled it through Matt Crooks.
With the snow in full flow, and both sides looking for a winner, it was the away side that found one. Josh Murphy's dangerous cross was headed in by Joe Bennett at the back post.
