The Bluebirds visit the Bet365 Stadium to take on Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
The fixture will take place on December 14th, with a kick-off time of 3pm.
OPPOSITION FOCUS | IN THE DUGOUT
Stoke City’s manger is Narcís Pelach, who was appointed in September this year.
He began his managerial career in charge of UE Figueres in Spain, before moving on to CF Peralada.
Pelach moved to top-flight club Girona in July 2019 to become assistant manager under Juan Carlos Unzué. He departed the club at the end of that season in June 2020.
The Spaniard’s first role in English football came at Huddersfield Town as assistant manager to current West Bromwich Albion boss, Carlos Corberán. During his time at the Terriers he was briefly caretaker manager before former Bluebird Neil Warnock took charge.
In May 2023, Pelach joined Norwich City as assistant manager. He stayed at the club until taking charge of our hosts, Stoke City, in September.
Since joining the Potters, Pelach has won three games, drawn six and lost seven.
OPPOSITION FOCUS | SEASON SO FAR
Our hosts head into this fixture sat in 18th place in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Potters are without a win in six games, when they defeated Blackburn Rovers away from home 2-0.
Stoke City have had mixed results at home this campaign, picking up 13 out of a possible 30 points available.
Last time out they were defeated 2-1 away at Luton Town. Tom Cannon opened the scoring for the Potters six minutes in, but goals from Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo were enough to secure all three points for the Hatters.
OPPOSITION FOCUS | KEY PLAYER
The Potters' key player this campaign has been Tom Cannon, who joined on a season-long loan from top-flight side Leicester City this summer.
Cannon has impressed this season, scoring eight times in 16 games, averaging a goal every other game. His current record makes him the Championship's third top scorer so far this campaign.
The youngster has previously had good campaigns at Preston North End and Leicester City in the Championship, with Cannon now having scored 18 Championship goals in 49 league appearances at the age of 21.
