The Bluebirds booked a place in Round Three of the Carabao Cup with a dominant victory over Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night.
Goals from Isaak Davies, Calum Chambers and Joel Colwill secured a place in the third round for the Bluebirds.

Brian Barry-Murphy made seven changes to the side that defeated Luton Town on Saturday, with thirteen Academy graduates making it into the squad. Tanatswa Nyakuhwa made his first start, while there were places on the bench for Daniel Higgs and Gabriel Keita.
The Bluebirds started strongly; a low cross from Nyakuhwa across goal found the feet for Yousef Salech, whose shot hit the crossbar.
After looking dangerous in the opening few minutes, City scored their first of the night early on. Dakarai Mafico pounced on a Cheltenham error and darted forward centrally before playing in Isaak Davies, who precisely placed his shot into the bottom right-corner to put the hosts ahead.
Barry-Murphy’s men continued to put pressure on the Cheltenham backline afterwards, with both Davies’ curled effort and a Salech free-kick nearly extending the Bluebirds’ lead.
Having opened the scoring, Davies turned provider for City's second, as his corner-kick found club captain Chambers, who fantastically directed his header across goal and in at the back of the net.

Despite City's dominance, the Robins were awarded a penalty kick six minutes later. However, Matthew Turner made a brilliant stop to deny Lee Angol from twelve yards, tipping the effort onto his post.
The hosts made an energetic start to the second half and soon after made it three. Substitute Rubin Colwill dribbled into the Cheltenham box before passing the ball to his brother Joel, whose strike sailed past Joe Day to put City beyond reach of the visitors.
Despite Ethon Archer striking the post for the Robins in the 61st minute, City continued to dominate the match, with both Rubin Colwill and substitute Chris Willock testing Day.
Finally, and with 94 minutes on the clock, Nyakuhwa nearly made it four from a low Cian Ashford cross, but he couldn’t quite convert City’s last chance of the match, with the whistle blowing shortly afterwards to confirm another cup victory under the lights.
Cardiff City will next be in action on Saturday, as they take on Plymouth Argyle at Cardiff City Stadium - Kick-Off at 12:30pm.
