CANTON STAND BAND
Foreign Legion were first formed in Merthyr Tydfil in 1984 by Marcus Howells who pioneered the band until his passing in 2023. It's seen many lineup changes over the years and over 30 band members! The remaining members decided to continue the band in memory of Marcus which started with tribute shows in his memory at Rebellion festival and Punk on the Peninsula last year: and it's grown from there.
The band have had a busy summer touring all over the UK but couldn't wait to get back to CCS for this amazing pre-season friendly. Next stop is the Rebellion festival in Blackpool next week and the tour ends in Darlington in October with a few local shows through the winter and a few appearances in the Canton Stand to raise your spirits before games.
Foreign Legion are looking forward to another season at CCS!

Football is for everyone. We might support different teams, but football unites and inspires us.
It is a game with many opinions. But there is one on which we should all agree.
Racism and discrimination is not welcome in our game. So if you hear it, report it - whether in the street, at Cardiff City Stadium or online.
Because we are all Together Against Discrimination.
