Ng post-Bristol City | We gave our fans something to shout about

Interviews
Following Cardiff City’s Severnside derby victory, Perry Ng discussed the performance at Ashton Gate.

The matchwinner began by reflecting on the past few weeks, as City have now won back-to-back matches and are unbeaten in three.

“Personally it was fantastic,” said Perry. “But most importantly it was the team performance; I thought that we were brilliant and comfortable, so I’m made up.

“I don’t know where scoring headers has come from for me, but keep them coming! We’ve had a lot of ups and downs this year, but we keep working hard and we’ll be rewarded, which is what we’ve done this week.

“We’ve had a few tough weeks. It’s been better the last two games, but before that we were poor, so it was nice to come here and give the fans something to shout about.”

Continuing, Perry had nothing but praise for the team, who have now recorded three consecutive clean sheets.

“We were comfortable today, and I think we were the better team for most of the game," he explained. "I don’t think they had many chances, so I’m very pleased for all of the lads.

“Keeping a clean sheet was the most important thing. For the first 15 minutes they had a few chances, but after that I thought we were in control and looked like scoring.

“It’s so important in this league to get back-to-back wins, and what a difference it makes in the dressing room. We need to continue that onto Wednesday with Huddersfield at home we’ll be looking to win again.”
