Brian Barry-Murphy spoke to the press following the 5-2 away defeat at Plymouth Argyle.
"It was a very disappointing result for us naturally," Brian began. "We have to take it on the chin and move on quickly.
"I thought we had good control over the game. We looked very dangerous in the early stages.
"Plymouth Argyle are very direct nowadays and get the ball in the box really quickly and on transition they caused us some problems. We weren't at our best in terms of how we created chances.
"The nature of the goals and how they occurred and the close proximity of them to each other was difficult for us to manage. We conceded from two of our own attacks. They broke quickly and scored.
"We bounced back really well. I was very confident we'd create chances as we did and score.
"Then, as the second half wore on, I was pretty sure we'd score again. Their penalty took away a lot of momentum for us. Today wasn't our day.
"It was a great result for Plymouth Argyle. I hold Tom Cleverley in the highest regard. I saw the work he did at Watford and I really admired that.
"The style of the team has changed. They are very direct and very strong at what they do. Well done and good luck to them.
"Today we weren't good enough with the ball and didn't defend those key moments well enough as a team."
Brian's attention and that of his team has to swiftly move onto next week's clash in Doncaster.
The City boss continued: "The focus for us is always on the next game. We are consistent in the way we work and play.
"We'll aim to bounce back with a really good training week and look forward to next Saturday."
"We have a brilliant dressing room full of excellent players. I think we've lost two in 19 in the league. The players have been amazing for the Club this season.
"The end of the game was quite hard for us but our lads stuck together and continued to attack. That's what we want to see from our team."
