Following Cardiff City’s dominant victory over the Pilgrims on Saturday afternoon, Dylan Lawlor spoke to Cardiff City TV.
The centre-back began by commenting on the Bluebirds’ terrific form, finishing the opening month of the campaign at the top of the League One table with one goal conceded in that time.
“We’re building momentum now,” said Dylan. “We’re on a really good run of form but I feel like there’s more to come from us.
“I feel like as a young player, coming into the First Team can be a pressurising, and with a new group of players I feel like the manager has made such a comfortable environment and put trust in us.
"It’s quite easy to then go out and play your best football."
Commenting on his own development within the side, alongside both a new contract extension for the Bluebirds and Wales international call-up during the week, Lawlor added:
“I’m definitely learning with every game," he reflected. "I think with Peterborough it probably wasn’t my best performance, but I’m growing with every game.
"If you look at the back four as a unit, we’re building a strong relationship. It’s another clean sheet for us and hopefully we can carry that on.
“It’s about keeping that going now, not putting your feet up and resting. We keep working and looking at what’s next."
