PRE-MATCH | IAIN DARBYSHIRE
Hoping to build on an emphatic 5-1 home win over Briton Ferry Llansawel this past Sunday, head coach Iain Darbyshire said. “I’m looking forward to it, it’s always an exciting game against Barry. They’re a team who like to play football, they’ll be aggressive. They’ve got great home fans and they’ll make a good atmosphere. We think it will be a very technical game, and it will be on us then to make sure that we bring the quality and get the three points.
“We’re always looking to entertain the fans and score as many goals as possible. Five different scorers on Sunday as well helps, and we’ll prepare the same way. The most important thing for me is coming back with the clean sheet, I think that will be our priority for the weekend.
“We’ve got good depth and a lot of competition in positions. If you look at our bench, I think nearly every player would compete to start across teams in the league. We’ve got good strength in depth and now it’s just about getting consistency.”

PRE-MATCH | MIKAYLA COOK
After a goal and an assist on the weekend, Mikayla Cook gave her thoughts about Sunday’s clash. “It’s going to be a tough game. We know Barry are a really good opposition. They’ve just come off the back of a strong game against Wrexham, so we know they’re going to be up for it, but we are coming off the back of a very good win against Briton Ferry. We’re confident and we’re looking forward to it.
“It's every attacker’s mindset to be going into games to score goals and to get assists. I was really happy to get a goal and an assist on the weekend and I’m looking to build on that now against Barry.
“It builds a really positive atmosphere when there’s been multiple goalscorers in a game. It gives everyone a bit of a push when everyone’s been involved in the game. It really helps us to push into the next couple of weeks where we’re looking to build on our performance’s week in week out."
