PRE-MATCH | IAIN DARBYSHIRE
"They are a great side, they’re really aggressive in their press. They are confident in possession and they have some fantastic individual players. I don’t think any team has taken them lightly this year, they have been on the end of some close games, whereas if they'd have gone the other way, they could have been right up there. I’m thankful it’s TNS for our final game because we’ve had so many great fixtures against them across the years.
"For the players, you got a cup final to look forward to and you got an opportunity to finish the season on a high. This week’s game is an audition for the cup final.
"I think it's a bit surreal that it's my last game. I've been at a Club for nine years and six as the manager and this Club's giving me memories that'll last for the rest of my life.
"I'm so grateful for all the staff and players, they've been a part of the journey. We've had a lot of success, but there’s been so much hard work that's got put into it. I'm really excited about what the future looks like for the team with Noah in charge.
"This has been the first week where it's kind of hit home that it's my last game, I’m so thankful for everyone's efforts during my time at the Club.”

"The preparation this week has been really positive, everyone’s working hard. We know what we’re capable of, and we’re all focused on delivering a strong performance and getting a positive result.
"We’re all looking forward to getting out there and putting in a strong performance. It’s really important that we put in a strong showing and get a positive result on Sunday. It gives us that confidence going into the cup final and helps us finish the season on a high. It’s also a great opportunity for us to bounce back from last week and show exactly what this team is capable of.
"We’re really determined to respond in the right way. The result against Wrexham was disappointing, but it’s only strengthened our focus and desire to put things right. As a group, we’re fully committed to finishing the league campaign on a high and building strong momentum going into the cup final.
"TNS are a tough, organised team who have been performing well. From our previous meetings this season, we know exactly what to expect and we understand that we’ll need to stay focused and be at our very best to get the result we want."
OPPOSITION FOCUS
The New Saints finished Phase One in fourth place, recording seven wins, two draws and five defeats. The Saints come into Sunday’s contest on a difficult run of form, with just one win since the league split. That victory came last weekend, as they defeated Swansea City 1-0 at the Swansea.com Stadium.
The Bluebirds have faced the Saints five times already this season. After failing to win either of the opening two meetings, City have since responded with three convincing victories over Sunday’s opponents.
In the most recent league encounter at Park Hall, City were ruthless in front of goal. Shannon Evans opened the scoring after seven minutes, before Maddison Perrott doubled the advantage just two minutes later.
The Bluebirds continued their fast start, with Lily Billingham adding a third in the 16th minute. City carried that momentum into the second half and were rewarded on the hour mark through Madison Lloyd. Although Caitlin Chapman pulled one back, Evans added her second of the game to secure an emphatic 5-1 victory for Darbyshire’s side.
