PRE-MATCH | FIONA BARRY
Going into her second season at the Club after a stellar first year, playmaker Fiona Barry said: “Our preparations have been intense. We’ve worked hard in training to make sure that we can go into the first game ready to go. The New Saints are always a tough game, but we always get a lot of fans travelling to these games. We have great support no matter how far it is and we can’t wait to play in front of them again.
“We know that we’ll have to be at our best and it’s about putting our gameplan into action. Momentum is so important in football, so we have to make sure that we go in there with the right mindset, we start quickly and finish the game with a positive result.
“Park Hall is a tough place to go. It’s never easy going there as an away team, but we have experience of playing there and that will be important.”

PRE-MATCH | LAURA CURNOCK
Ahead of Sunday's season opener, striker Laura Curnock added: "We can't wait. Because the Champions League was earlier this year, it's been a very long pre-season for us. We're super keen and excited to get back on the pitch on Sunday.
"TNS provide a huge challenge. Every game we had against them last season was a tight one. Their league position last year probably didn't do justice how well they played. I think it will be a really good game to watch.
"A positive result on Sunday is important, just to get the ball rolling. It's key this year that we start the season as we mean to go on."

FIXTURE FLASHBACK
Our last visit to Park Hall was back in March 2025 in a crucial game on City's route to the Adran Premier title.
The fixture will live long in the memory for Iain Darbyshire's side showing immense character away from home.
Chantelle Teare netted early for the hosts, while Kayleigh Baker doubled the lead on the hour mark.
With 88 minutes on the clock, it looked as though the Bluebirds were set for defeat.
That was until a remarkable comeback, which was started by a Ffion Price corner, which found the net. Centre-back Shannon Evans then reverted back to her previous position of striker and showed her finishing ability to make it 2-2.
City weren't done there though. A last-minute free-kick found Megan Bowen at the back post, who excellently took the ball down with her right foot, before striking into the top corner with her weaker left.
Three goals in five minutes gave the Bluebirds a brilliant three points, which proved to have a contribution towards league success at the end of the campaign.
