Omari Kellyman previewed Saturday's clash against Blackpool at CCS.
With eight fixtures remaining of the League One campaign, Kellyman expressed his confidence in City's ability as the Bluebirds look to build a run of good form going into the final run of matches.
“One thing that’s stayed consistent throughout the season is that we know what we’re capable of," Omari began. "We know that we’re not going to get results all of the time, but we’ve proved multiple times throughout the season that what we do works.
“Before games I don’t look at where any team is in the league. I think any team in this league is capable of beating anyone.
"To me, that doesn’t really matter, I just think all that matters is we turn up on the day and if we do the business then hopefully we blow them away.”
“It’s an important part of the season, and when the games come thick and fast it’s important to be getting the results.
"Hopefully a win on Saturday can put us in another step in the right direction and carry us into a bit of form.”
Reflecting on his time playing in a central attacking role in recent weeks, Omari shared how he's found the experience in a new position.
“When I joined I just wanted to play, I wasn’t bothered where. I think the same now, to be honest; I’ll play wherever Brian [Barry-Murphy] tells me to, as long as I’m on the pitch and can help in whatever way I can.
“I’ve got to do the work for the team, playing as a striker almost for the past few games. I’ve enjoyed it.
“Brian made it clear that I’ve got to be open to different ideas and to have that faith, and I’m happy for the challenge."
He concluded: “It can be tricky playing up front; it’s a more physical position and I’ve seen Yousef [Salech] do it throughout the course of the season. It’s been a different challenge but one that I’ve been enjoying.”
