Ahead of Wednesday night’s return to the Welsh capital, Chris Willock spoke to the press at CCS.
Having featured in every fixture of the season so far for the Bluebirds, the City winger expressed his excitement at the prospect of two home matches this week, beginning with the Hammers.
“We’re all looking forward to the game tomorrow,” began Chris. “Our home form has been really good. It’s against a big club and it’s a game that everybody wants to play in.
“You can see what we’re trying to do, whether we win draw or lose we have a clear identity of how we want to play and how we want to do things.
“That comes from Brian and the staff, we’re just building at the moment and need to keep going."
Chris continued: “I think every game you want to win, no matter who you play against. Especially when you’re at home in front of our fans, it’s always an opportunity to put down a marker.
“We’re going for the three points like we always do, and hopefully we can do just that.
“You always want to do well against the big teams. It’s a big test for us to play against this sort of opposition, so I’m looking forward to it.
“It’s about being confident and going for it. This season at home we’ve been really good, especially with our fans behind us, there’s no reason why we can’t win.”
