Pre-Season 2022 | First Team Friendly Schedule

Cardiff City will play the following First Team pre-season friendly fixtures ahead of the new season:

• Saturday 9th July vs. Cambridge United (Cardiff International Sports Stadium, 1pm)
• Tuesday 12th July vs. Newport County (Cardiff International Sports Stadium, 6.30pm) *
• Saturday 16th July vs. Cheltenham Town (The Jonny-Rocks Stadium, 3pm)
• Tuesday 19th July vs. Shrewsbury Town (Montgomery Waters Meadow, 7pm)
• Saturday 23rd July vs. Swindon Town (County Ground, 3pm)

Due to the use of Cardiff City Stadium for the Welsh National Men’s team fixtures throughout June, the Cardiff City Stadium pitch will be unavailable for friendly fixtures to be played on it whilst it’s being prepared for the 2022/23 season.

Our two home friendlies will thus be played at Cardiff International Sports Stadium in Leckwith, as detailed above.

*This fixture will be played as two 60 minute games.
