Cian Ashford spoke to Cardiff City TV after another positive performance from the Bluebirds, which ended in a 2-2 draw against Sheffield United.
"We're definitely glass half-full." Cian began. "It's a shame that we didn't quite get the result this weekend, but we're all positive. The performance in that second half, we were really dominant and we kept our foot on the gas. It's a shame we couldn't quite find the back of the net.
"When we’re playing with the freedom we’ve got, and you hear the fans right behind you as well, it is really enjoyable for every single player on the pitch.
"We’re hoping that we can put the points with the performances now. That’s what we’ll be looking to do in the next game."
It was an action-packed opening at CCS, which saw City take and then surrender the lead, with Cian commenting on the frenzied nature of the early exchanges.
He said: "The first ten minutes were a bit frantic, so you just have to take a deep breath and compose yourself. After that, we had a good foothold in the game.
"We conceded early against Wrexham, a little bit slow against Derby and again today. But we're always driving for that minute 1 to minute 90 performance, so we're just going to keep on going. We don't go out there with any sort of fear - we just go out there, express ourselves and enjoy the game."
Ashford was on hand to fire home the eventual equaliser, which came after some excellent individual work from Ollie Tanner.
"I thought Ollie did really well to create the chance for himself, but obviously being in the middle, you’ve got to get yourself in the box. The keeper pulled off a save and it fell to me - right place, right time.
"When you're in the flow of it, you love being involved and you take every game as it comes.
"You can't ask for much more. We've got a good manager, great fans, and if we have great results to go with it, we're going in the right direction."
