After a physical battle with Stockport County's trio of central defenders, Yousef Salech got his reward deep into stoppage time, heading home a late leveller for City at Edgeley Park before speaking to the media after the match.
"I definitely enjoyed scoring!" Yousef began. "I haven't been scoring like I wanted through the start of the season. Scoring goals is what I always want to do to help the team, and today that helped us stay unbeaten for another game. Hopefully that gives us some more motivation to keep going and perform better in the next game.
"It's not the first time I've scored that late! I enjoy scoring late, deciding games, equalising or winning games in the end. My first goal for Cardiff was late, and I remember a derby goal against Bristol City at home was 90 plus. It's the best time to score a goal as a striker. It was amazing with all the fans behind the goal."

Yousef's second goal of the season extends our unbeaten run to nine matches in all competitions, with the striker praising the impact and influence of Head Coach, Brian Barry-Murphy.
He said: "We won a point in the end of the game - we came here to win all three points, but our performance was not good enough. In the end, we won one point because we didn't play well enough in the first 95 minutes of the game. Everyone knows that we're aiming for promotion, so winning as many games as possible and losing as few as possible is the most important.
"I don't think we've lost a game with Brian - even in pre-season, with six or seven pre-season games, so I don't know how that feels yet. He's really honest, and wants us to improve. It's not the fear of losing a game, he wants us to play well and perform well.
"I think that's what hurts the most today, for him, that we didn't perform as we should have done. But obviously, it gives us the momentum, we win a point in the end today. We need to train better and do well, and perform better in the next games."

It was another physical afternoon for Yousef, who commented on the nature of playing up front in the third division.
"I don't know if I should say anything to be fair! You saw what you saw today. I think I've played one against two or three [defenders] most of the time, so that's how it is in football. He was on me, but it's okay.
"I said it to the team right before the game started - these kind of teams, they are looking forward to this game the whole season. They want to beat us, especially at home with their home crowd and everything, so it's not going to be easy.
"They are going to try amd do everything to beat us, and we should know that and realise that no game is going to be easy, even though we're top of the league and unbeaten. It's not only enough to be a good team and have a good performance, we need to be mentally aware."
