Ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, our U18s welcome nine new scholars to the side.
The young Bluebirds have returned to pre-season training, with preparations underway for the new season.
As part of the U18s setup, the following players have agreed two-year scholarship deals with the Bluebirds:
Goalkeeper: Joshua Donovan
Defence: Logan Cartwright, Harri Davies, Thomas Prickett
Midfield: Robert Tankiewicz, Tiger Tobin, Ellis Yorke
Attackers: Leo Papirnyk, Jack Sykes

Speaking about our scholars, Tom Hutton said: "Pre season is an exciting time of the year as we welcome a new group of scholars to the U18s, and as an Academy we are really optimistic about what this group can achieve both individually and collectively.
"The early parts of the season will be spent helping the players to understand the demands of the scholarship and allowing them to experience what a full time development model feels like. How they prepare, perform and recover each day now becomes hugely important for them to maximise their potential.
"As staff our role is to outline our expectations of the players both on and off the pitch whilst nurturing the behaviours we feel will allow them to have long lasting success in the game."

Shot-stopper Joshua Donovan is a talented goalkeeper who joined the Bluebirds at U9 level and has progressed through the age-groups, before taking the step to the U18s ahead of the new season.
Defender Logan Cartwright began his journey at the Club with our U13s. He has also represented Wales at age-grade level, notably in the prestigious Victory Shield.
Harri Davies has operated in City's backline through the age groups since joining our U14s. Davies was a key part of the U17s side that reached the PDL Trophy Final in the 2024/25 campaign.
Thomas Prickett is a commanding centre-back who joined City's U12s. Prickett was captain of the U15s side that won the EFL Floodlit Cup back in May 2024.
Robert Tankiewicz joined the Bluebirds with our U9s. The talented midfielder gained experience at U18 level under Hutton during the 2024/25 season. He also represents Wales at age-grade level and like Cartwright, was part of the side that featured in the Victory Shield last season.
Tiger Tobin signs scholarship terms and is one of three of our new scholars to have joined at U9 level. The midfielder memorably scored the winner at Cardiff City Stadium in May 2024 as our U15s won the EFL Floodlit Cup.
Ellis Yorke will step up to our U18s for the 2025/26 season after joining City at U13 level. The dynamic midfielder has progressed through the age groups and will continue his development with the Bluebirds.
Wales youth international Leo Papirnyk first joined the Club's U16s and signs scholarship terms having had experience with our U18s last season. A dynamic attacker, Leo was also a part of Wales' Victory Shield side last year.
Rounding off our new scholars is Jack Sykes, who played a key part in our U17s reaching the PDL Trophy Final last season. The attacker also found the net at Cardiff City Stadium in May 2024 in the EFL Floodlit Cup Final. Jack continues his time at the Club after joining at U14 level.
