City’s U18’s are back in Professional Development League Cup action this Saturday as the young Bluebirds make the trip South to face Plymouth Argyle.
The fixture will take place on the Millennium Pitches on Saturday, September 19th, with a kick-off time of 12pm.

“The season’s been going really well so far. It’s a new group of lads so it’s taken a bit of time for some of the boys to mould in but we’re all coming together. Our results are starting to show that, with two wins in two games now, keeping clean sheets in both.
“As a striker it’s always great to be scoring goals but for me it’s more about winning and doing my job for the team.
“Plymouth are a strong side. We’ve looked at their clips in training, and we played them in pre-season. We know they’re a very physical team and we're going to go down there knowing it’s going to be a tough battle.
"However, we’ve been preparing really well throughout the week and if we stick to our gameplan, hopefully we can come away with three points.
“The atmosphere in the dressing room is great with two wins on the bounce, so we couldn’t ask for anything more. Going into the game on Saturday, the boys are buzzing and certainly up for it.”
RECENT RESULTS
In the U18s previous outing, the young Bluebirds dismantled a strong Hull City side 7-0 at Cardiff International Sports Campus.
Goals came from Keano Conaty, Gruff Evans and Taona Nyakuhwa whilst individual braces were unleashed from City’s strike pivot in Jack Sykes and Leo Papirnyk.
Prior to this result, City’s 18s dominated Huddersfield Town 3-0 on away soil.
Goals came from Evans, Jacob Norris and Pedro Araujo as City comfortably walked away with another three points under their belt.
