PRE-MATCH | JAC THOMAS
Ahead of Tuesday evening's contest, left-back Jac Thomas said: “It’s been a good start to the season, we’re in a good run of form and we’re playing well. There’s good morale in the squad.
“I think that the Watford game in particular, it was one of the best that we’ve played so far this season. It’s given us a bit of energy and a buzz going into Tuesday.
“We know that we want to do well in this cup and get off to a strong start, so hopefully we can get the three points tomorrow.
“Everyone likes a cup game and the chance to go on a cup run. I think we all want to see what we can do in this cup this year, starting by trying to top this group, make a name for ourselves and see where this cup can take us.
“When it comes to cup games, sometimes the result can be more important than the performance.
“It’s never easy going up against Burnley, they’re always a good side. It will be a tough test, but hopefully we can get the result and move on to the next.”

RECENT RESULTS
City head into Tuesday evening's fixture undefeated in their last three fixtures.
The young Bluebirds started this month with an impressive 4-1 victory at Peterborough United, before following up with a 2-2 draw at Huddersfield Town, in which Jake Davies and Will Spiers got on the scoresheet.
Last time out, Darren Purse's side took on Watford at Vicarage Road, again in PDL action.
