City’s U21s are back in action on Tuesday, facing QPR in the PDL.
The game will kick off at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, February 17th at TSG Training Centre.
PRE-MATCH | SEKOU KABA
Ahead of the contest, forward Sekou Kaba said: “Everyone’s feeling good. We’ve been working hard in training and getting advice from the coaches, so we’re looking forward to it.
“They are a very good side [QPR]. We just have to play our game and not really look into them too much. Obviously, we still have to analyse to see what they are good at, and see if we can break them down as a team.
“In training, we’ve just been working towards the QPR game and just working on certain things we can improve on as a team. So we feel like it’s a very good opportunity, especially after the game against Bournemouth, where we could’ve put the game to bed, but unfortunately, we didn’t.
“It wasn’t easy being injured, to be honest, especially with the time I’ve been out for. I think it was nearly seven months. So, coming back, it’s been a good feeling. All my teammates have been helping and the coaches are all backing me to go out there and show people what I can do.”
LAST TIME OUT
The young Bluebirds were denied three points against Bournemouth, as the home side scored a late penalty kick.
Trey George fired the young Bluebirds ahead in the first two minutes of play, with Dan Ola on hand before the half-hour mark to head home at the back post from a well-worked cross.
Despite leading for most of the match, the hosts got one back with ten minutes remaining through Jonny Day's strike. In injury time, Michael Dacosta Gonzalez equalised from the spot with seconds remaining.
