City’s U21s are looking to bounce back on Friday as they travel to Hillsborough to take on Sheffield Wednesday.
The fixture will take place at Hillsborough on April 10th, kicking off at 12pm.
PRE-MATCH | CODY TWOSE
Ahead of the contest, midfielder Cody Twose said: “We’re all excited for it. All the boys are up for it. It’s a big game. We have to go and get a result. We’ve got to win our next three games to give us the best chance of getting to the Play-Offs, so we know the job at hand.
“Of course it’s going to be tough, every game is tough. We know we’re above them in the table, but it’s still going to be a tough task. They’re going to be up for it. We’ve got to go there and put in a performance.
“It’s important to bounce back. It was a tough game for us on Monday, but it was a good learning experience. We all spoke after the game, and we all agreed to draw a line under it, but to learn from it as well. It’s very important we kick on now.
“Playing in any stadium is good. It adds a little bit more to the game. It’ll be a good ground to go to, and hopefully we put in a good performance and come back with three points.”
LAST TIME OUT
The young Bluebirds fell to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford on Monday.
The Bees were clinical throughout the contest and took the lead through Ethan Laidlaw, who was played in by Michel Boni and fired home.
Boni then turned from provider to goalscorer as he tapped home from Joseph Wheeler-Henry's cross. After the break, Boni grabbed his second by finishing a rebound from Beau Redknapp's shot. Conor McManus secured victory for the hosts
