City’s U21s side are in PDL action on Friday afternoon, taking on Watford.
The fixture will take place at Vicarage Road on September 19th, with a kick-off time of 2pm.

PRE-MATCH | JAKE DAVIES
Ahead of the game against Watford, Jake Davies said: “It was a fair result against Huddersfield in midweek because we didn’t do enough to win the game, but I thought we did enough not to lose it.
“I was pleased with the character we showed, because we could’ve gone 2-0 down when it was 1-0, or 3-1 down when it was 2-1, but we did well to stay in the game and deserved the point in the end.
“I’m happy with how I’ve been doing lately, I just need to keep scoring goals. I’ve been playing in a new position at striker and I want to get used to it as quickly as I can.
“The last two games have given me confidence in my game. Hopefully I can play well again on Friday against Watford, and as a team we can get the three points.
“We’re looking forward to the game on Friday, it’s a quick turnaround from Tuesday so we need to make sure that we’re prepared, recovered and ready for it. Watford is always a tough game, so we’ll have to be ready for it.
“Playing games regularly is helping our development and it’s what we need as young footballers; we like to have game after game so it can help us for the future.”

RECENT RESULTS
The young Bluebirds head into Friday’s contest with four points from the last two matches.
Following a 4-1 victory at Peterborough United prior to the international fixtures, City recorded a 2-2 draw against Huddersfield Town in midweek.
The young Bluebirds fell behind with five minutes on the clock, but showed great character to find a response just three minutes later. Jake Davies continued his fine form for the U21s side and got on the scoresheet once again to draw City level.
Halfway through the first period, the hosts got themselves back in front, forcing the Bluebirds to come from behind once more. Much like after the Terriers' first goal, City reacted well and found another equaliser three minutes after the interval, with Will Spiers finding the net.
Despite both sides' efforts to find a winner, the points were shared at the Accu Stadium.
