We are delighted to welcome Thierry Katsukunya to the Bluebirds, who will link up with Darren Purse's U21s side.
Having come through at Coventry City, the centre-back then moved to Aston Villa, prior to his switch to the Welsh capital this summer.
The 20-year-old also has experience at international level, representing Wales at age-grade level.
Thierry becomes the first new addition to our U21s side ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Speaking to Cardiff City TV following his move, Thierry said: “I’m so excited to join this great Club, especially straight after promotion as well. I can’t wait to get started.
“I would describe myself as being calm and composed on the ball, a natural leader and someone who plays for the badge.
“Seeing the opportunities here, from an outside perspective, I just want to be a part of it and be one of those names that have made it through. It’s just so exciting.”
