Ugbo post-PNE | We showed drive and confidence
Iké Ugbo spoke to Cardiff City TV after netting a last-gasp winner as the Bluebirds picked up three points at Deepdale on Saturday afternoon.
"It was a great win." Iké began. "I think it was a great team performance today; coming away to Preston, it's a tough place to come to. But I think we did well as a team, and I'm happy to get the winner.
"We kept going, we showed the drive and the confidence in the team, and we just kept doing what we're good at.
"Sometimes, that happens - you don't get many touches but you get that one chance, and you have to finish it off. It was a great ball from Wints, and I'm happy we got the win."
The striker praised the travelling City fans who made the long journey to Lancashire today, before turning his attention to our midweek clash with West Bromwich Albion at CCS.
"I can imagine [they'll be pleased], because the coach journey on the way up here was really long! So I'm really happy for the fans, and for the team.
"I think now we can push on and try to get a nice run, and get some points on the board."
