Young Bluebirds to compete at U19 European Championship

Jac Thomas represents Wales' U19s
Three Bluebirds have been selected to represent Wales at the U19 European Championship.

Jac Thomas, Noah Williams and Robert Tankiewicz have all been included in Chris Gunter's squad.

Wales are hosting the 2026 edition of the competition and have been drawn in Group A with Denmark, Germany and Spain.

The experience of playing in a competitive international tournament will further the development of the players and aid their progress when returning to Cardiff City.

Reflecting on the three call-ups, Academy Manager Gavin Chesterfield said: "Being a part of any Wales international squad is a huge honour, but being a part of a Euros tournament on home soil is rare and as such, it’s especially special.

"We wish the staff and squad the very best of luck for the games ahead. I know our guys are ready to play their part."
