Jacob joined Cardiff City's academy aged 8 years old.

The goalkeeper begins the 2021/22 season in his first season as an U18 player, though he represented the side on several occasions in the season prior as well.

Jake gained experience on loan at Gloucester City in the 2023/24 season.
