Kion Etete joined Cardiff City FC on a permanent transfer from Tottenham Hotspur on August 4th, 2022.

The forward joined Spurs' youth setup from Notts County in 2019, having previously made his senior debut for the Magpies in an EFL Trophy fixture at the age of 16.

The 22-year-old joined League Two side Northampton Town for the first half of the 2021/22 season, scoring six goals in 23 appearances for the Cobblers. In January 2022 he made the step up to League One outfit Cheltenham Town, scoring a further three goals from 13 appearances throughout the remainder of their campaign.

Etete has gained experience during loan spells at Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United since joining the Bluebirds.
