Matthew Turner signed a new two-year deal with the Club in June 2024.

Formerly of Leeds United's youth set-up, the 'keeper had made regular appearances between the sticks for Darren Purse's U21 side before covering the bench for Ethan Horvath and Jak Alnwick on several occasions during the 2024/25 campaign.

Matthew made his first start and senior debut on the opening weekend of the 2025/26 season, impressing in a 2-1 victory over Peterborough United.
