On February 1st, 2026, left-back Calum Scanlon joined Cardiff City on loan from Liverpool, making the Welsh capital his home for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.

An England international at youth level, Calum began his career within Birmingham City’s academy system before joining Liverpool in 2020, aged 15. He made his senior debut for the Reds in October 2023, featuring in a Europa League victory over Toulouse.
