Club News

It has been an interesting January transfer window for the Bluebirds, with three new additions to the side.

On Thursday, 21st January, we welcomed Lex Immers to Cardiff City Stadium from Feyenoord. The attacker joined up with the Bluebirds on a loan deal until the end of the season - opening his account for the Club in Saturday's 3-2 victory over Huddersfield Town.

Then to the ever exciting transfer deadline day. The loan deal of Danish U21 international forward Kenneth Zohore from KV Kortrijk was announced around 10am, with the 6'3 striker immediately conducting his first interview with Cardiff City Player HD. A free-view snippet is now live on our official Youtube account, with the full exclusive available to Bluebirds Player Subscribers.

Lunchtime came with further developments on deadline day, as Cardiff City Football Club confirmed the loan deal of Welsh international Tom Lawrence. The former Manchester United man joining from Leicester City. While Tom may have previously entered the home dressing room at Cardiff City Stadium as part of the Welsh setup, we took Tom around the ground for the first time as a Bluebird. The full interview with City's newest number 37 can be found here.

Kenwyne Jones & Matthew Kennedy joined Al Jazira & Port Vale respectively on loan during the transfer window, while Joe Mason, Gabriel Tamas & Alex Revell have permanently left the Club. We wish them well.
