Primitive Soul
Matchday music - primitive soul

Our Canton Stand band is Primitive Soul!

Blazing their way out of Blackwood is the electrifying punk rock band who released their first three-song EP, ‘Void’, on vinyl when they were just 15 years old.

Recorded on a DIY system during lockdown, the vinyl sold out within 30 minutes! It was voted as Welsh Music EP of the summer in 2021 for all genres. Since then, the lads have gigged relentlessly, appearing on BBC Radio, Clwb Ifor Bach, Bunkhouse, Jacs, Crowleys Rock Bar, Dragonffli, LePub and many more festivals.

The four-piece band is made up of Fin on vocals & rhythm guitar, Liam on drums, Curt on bass and Gabe on lead guitar. All of the lads study Music Tech at Coleg Gwent Cross Keys.

Check them out on Spotify and iTunes with new releases coming in the Autumn!

Anti Discrimination
Together Against Discrimination

Football is for everyone. We might support different teams, but football unites and inspires us.

It is a game with many opinions. But there is one on which we should all agree.

Racism and discrimination is not welcome in our game. So if you hear it, report it - whether in the street, at Cardiff City Stadium or online.

And when you see players taking the knee ahead of the game as a simple and peaceful act of protest this season, please respect their choice.

Because we are all Together Against Discrimination.
