Jason Bowen
Bucket Collection | We're with you, Jase!

We'll be hosting a bucket collection at Cardiff City Stadium, with all proceeds going to support City legend Jason Bowen's treatment for motor neurone disease.

Bows played for City between 1999-2004, joining from our opponents, Reading, making over 130 appearances, and scoring on 34 occasions. He won promotion three times with City. Jase's sons Jaye and Sam both progressed through our Academy too.

The main objective of the fundraising is to provide financial support to cover Jason’s ongoing medical costs. These include holistic treatments, supplements, daily living aids, hydrotherapy and specialist neuro physiology at the wonderful Morello Clinic in Langstone. This will also enable the family to explore new avenues to help Jason.

The online appeal has brilliantly already raised over £12,000 to help Jason's treatment.  You can either donate via the bucket collection, by scanning the QR code above or by clicking here.

Love Football. Protect The Game.
Love Football. Protect the Game.

The FA, Premier League and EFL are together introducing new measures and stronger sanctions across the game to tackle the increased anti-social and criminal behaviours recently seen within football grounds and underline the importance of a safe matchday environment.

The new set of actions, which will be implemented across all English football leagues from the start of Season 2022/23 and backed by the Football Supporters’ Association, will target activity such as entering the pitch without permission, carrying or using smoke bombs or pyrotechnics and throwing objects - as well as drug use and discriminatory behaviour.

These acts are dangerous, illegal and have severe consequences. They have no place in football, or anywhere.

Any supporters who experience or witness any anti-social behaviour, directly or indirectly, should contact us by emailing slo@cardiffcityfc.co.uk or texting 07554 158224, giving as much detail as possible (including row, seat number and a description of the incident).

Using video evidence and stewarding practices, we will do our utmost to identify anti-social individuals and ensure that they are no longer able to attend Cardiff City fixtures and are reported to the Police. We do not consider them supporters of our Club.

Anti Discrimination
Together Against Discrimination

Football is for everyone. We might support different teams, but football unites and inspires us. It is a game with many opinions. But there is one on which we should all agree.

Racism and discrimination is not welcome in our game. So if you hear it, report it - whether in the street, at Cardiff City Stadium or online.

And when you see players taking the knee ahead of the game as a simple and peaceful act of protest this season, please respect their choice.

Because we are all Together Against Discrimination.
