Pilks spoke about the impact that the win over Wolves could have as he and his teammates search for a second consecutive victory this weekend.

"It’s massive. The win on Tuesday was huge, not just for the points but for our confidence as well," Pilks explained. "You saw at the end how much it meant to everyone.

"We recovered, had a rest, got back on the training pitch on Thursday and now we are going to try and back it up with another good performance and, of course, the three points!"

This week, we also caught up at length with the Bluebirds' returning legend, Stephen McPhail.



Macca is going to be back in the Welsh capital this weekend to take in our match with Barnsley and meet the Bluebirds supporters at Cardiff City Stadium.

"I was delighted when I found out about this opportunity to come up and watch a match," he told us. "The fans there are special people too, so I’m looking forward to meeting as many of them as I can.

"It’s going to be a great day and hopefully we can get a good result too – that would be brilliant!”
