CARDIFF CITY PRIMARY SCHOOL VISITS

Club News

While there was no Bluebirds fixture this week due to the Easter international break, several City players have been in action over the past seven days, visiting local primary schools to meet young Bluebirds and spread the news of our Primary School Ticket League.

On Monday Kenneth Zohore visited Peter Lea Primary School, taking the stage to answer the kids’ questions during assembly.

Meanwhile, Stuart O’Keefe paid a visit to Lakeside Primary School the following day, fielding some fantastic questions and having a chat with a number of the pupils.

Then, on Wednesday Lex Immers and Joe Ralls went to Birchgrove Primary School, with Bartley Bluebird in tow!

Their special assembly kicked-off with a keepy-uppy competition…

Including City star Lex Immers…

Here's Lex with the keepy-uppy champion...

Lex and Joe then fielded questions from the room. When asked who the best player in the City squad is, Lex said David Marshall, while Joe opted for his midfield colleague Peter Whittingham.

Bartley couldn’t resist his share of the limelight, of course...

While he was on hand for more than a few high-fives…

Do the Ayatollah, everyone!

Our Primary School Ticket League attracted 2,000 extra pupils and parents to our home game against Preston North End last month...
