PRIMARY SCHOOL TICKET LEAGUE WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

Ticket News

Cardiff City's Primary School Ticket League
first launched in early 2016 and, a year on since the start of the voucher-based initiative, we are delighted to announce the ticket league's inaugural winners.

The scheme, which will be relaunched in the 2017/18 campaign, has allowed primary school pupils and their parents to use vouchers to redeem reduced-rate tickets for City’s home Sky Bet Championship matches, as well as sports equipment and playing gear.

With health, wellbeing & physical activity being high on the list of priorities for most, we feel it is important to provide opportunities for young people to not only access elite level sport events, but to find role models to inspire them to pursue an active lifestyle.

We also recognise that having access to specific kit or equipment to achieve these goals can be a challenge for some schools - which is exactly where the Primary School Ticket League has looked to provide support.

All schools that opted in requested vouchers for their pupils, entitling them to reduced rate ticketing for one adult and one child for just £15, for designated Bluebirds' fixtures. Additional tickets could also be purchased at a rate of £3 for U16s and £15 for adults

PRIMARY SCHOOL TICKET LEAGUE FIRST PRIZE...
In collaboration with the Cardiff City Foundation and adidas, Cardiff City confirmed that the schools that redeemed the most vouchers would receive exclusive prizes.

This week we were delighted to confirm that the first winners of our Primary School Ticket League were... Llandaff City Church in Wales Primary School!

To celebrate their success with the scheme, Cardiff City's Matthew Connolly visited Llandaff City Church in Wales this week to present them with their prize, which included two sets of adidas kits, adidas footballs, training bibs and an invitation to watch the Bluebirds' April clash with Nottingham Forest.

We'll be releasing more information on the return of the scheme for the 2017/18 season in due course.

However, primary schools can register their interest to get involved next time around by sending us an email at: grouptickets@cardiffcityfc.co.uk.

Congratulations,  Llandaff City Church in Wales Primary School!
