BBC visit the Foundation’s disability sessions…

Last week Jason Mohammad and the BBC came along to Fitzalan High School to find out more about the relationship between the Foundation and Children in Need.

With the help of BBC CiN, the Bluebirds Charity run a number of disability sessions throughout the week across the capital.

World Mental Health Day 2018…

The Foundation also welcomed groups from around South Wales who have been raising awareness about mental health through football, for a tour of Cardiff City Stadium.

The young people, who are from the Vale mental health service, played out a fixture at Jenner Park in Barry before the Bluebirds Charity gave them a behind-the-scenes look at the home of Cardiff City.

International Day of the Girl…

The Bluebirds Charity were also at Cardiff Met University to celebrate International Day of the Girl with Sport Cardiff last week.

The mass participation event allowed over 400 girls to take part in a range of activities, including football, rugby, cricket and athletics.

Girls Development Centres

Last week also saw the House of Sport Air Dome host the Bluebirds as they took on Swansea City Community Trust.

U9, U10 and U11 age groups all took part in the fixtures, which saw over 80 girls attend the morning.
