12 Days of #BluebirdsCrimbo...
This year, we've decided to put a spotlight on small, local businesses that are run by City supporters, rewarding them for their efforts throughout the year.
As well as receiving a visit from members of the First Team squad, these deserving businesses have also been given some special gifts, all in the name of raising festive spirits!
NB. Bluebirds Crimbo visits took place earlier in December, prior to the introduction of the updated EFL protocol regarding COVID-19 issued on December 16th.
Ahead of the big day we'll also be giving away prizes to Season Ticket Holders, as a small token of thanks for their continued support.
If you are one of our lucky winners, please contact club@cardiffcityfc.co.uk to claim your prize!
Day 1 | Curtis Nelson & Little Friends Childcare
On the first day of Bluebirds Crimbo, Curtis Nelson made the trip up to Taff's Well, where he visited Alison, whose nursery Little Friends Childcare was nominated for the work that they've done despite numerous challenges over the last few years.
In February 2020, after Storm Dennis had left their building in a condition beyond repair, Alison and her staff were able to quickly set up to continue to offer childcare to local parents. Later in the year, and throughout the lockdowns brought about by COVID-19, Little Friends Childcare was there to support the children of essential workers.
Visiting Little Friends Childcare in Taff's Well, City centre-back Curtis Nelson dropped off some presents, including a signed Cardiff City shirt and 25 pairs of tickets for our upcoming home fixture against Blackburn Rovers, which Alison can distribute amongst her loyal customers!

On the third day of Bluebirds Crimbo, Will Vaulks visited Victoria Fish Bar in Whitchurch. For the past three years, the Fish Bar has opened its doors on Christmas Day, offering hot food free of charge to those most in need.
Last year, that offer was extended to include any NHS staff members, or anybody working on Christmas Day, in recognition of the long hours and difficult circumstances many have endured over the past twelve months. After handing out over 850 free meals last Christmas, they have decided to continue their generous offer this Christmas as well.
To say thank you for their continued generosity in our local community, Will visited the Fish Bar and dropped off a signed Cardiff City shirt and 25 pairs of tickets for our meeting with Blackburn Rovers at Cardiff City Stadium.
