FRAIZER: I'M A HAPPY MAN

Club News

Two-goal hero Fraizer Campbell spoke of his delight in City's 2-1 win at Wolves on Sunday.

The striker has registered five times in as many games since making his debut against Leeds earlier in the month and seems set to continue his fine form as his fitness evidently improves.

"It was a tough game and we’re delighted to have come away with three points," said the striker at the final whistle. "They’ve got a good squad of players who are unfortunately on a bad run at the moment, but I’m sure they can turn it around.

"It’s going really well. We’ve won a couple of games and only drawn one and lost one since I’ve been here, so it’s been great. I’m happy to be part of this team. The team did really well today.

"We got beaten on Tuesday against Brighton but played some good stuff and on another day we could have got a different result. We’ve got to carry on the way we play, passing teams to death, and hopefully by the end of the season that will be enough.

"Personally, I can’t complain either! I’ve scored a couple of goals today and we’ve won the game, which is the most important thing. At the moment we’re winning more games than we’re losing and I’m a happy man."
