22nd October
Half-term soccer schools available now
Over 400 children experienced a Summer to remember earlier this year with our fun-filled soccer schools and we’re looking to carry that very same spirit of excitement into our camps throughout the forthcoming half term.Kicking off on 28th October across three different venues, you can enroll your young ones onto schools at Brecon Leisure Centre, Glamorgan Sports Centre or Cardiff City Stadium, each of which is governed by the Cardiff City Community and Education Foundation through our highly qualified UEFA coaching staff.
Though the qualities of team spirit are emphatic throughout football development, we aim to nurture young talent through a manner we feel will best enhance each child’s performance as an individual. With active learning by means of skill-specific drills and light hearted competition, each session is tailored to cater for all abilities, gender and ages between 4 – 13 year olds.
Leading the soccer school initiative at the Cardiff City Foundation is coach Dean Pymble who explained why development during the early stages of a player’s career is so important: “We understand that although the aim of soccer schools is to develop young players, it remains highly imperative that we instill the players’ love and passion for football as the utmost important factor.
"Each coach is highly qualified to target individual areas of development in a respectful and constructive way; as the participants are still young, it’s easier for them to break the bad habit of their faults at an early stage.”
We’re anticipating a massive turn out for our soccer schools throughout the half term, and urge you not to hesitate in booking your child on immediately to avoid disappointment.
