U19: CITY BOOK SWANSEA CLASH AFTER EIGHT GOAL WIN

The Cardiff City U19 squad booked their place in the third round of this season's FAW Youth Cup following an 8-0 win over Goytre Football Club on Sunday, 22nd November.

Matthew Bloxham & Jarred Harvey's side will travel to face South Wales rivals Swansea City in the next round as a result of this impressive victory that saw striker Ibi So Sani (pictured below) net on five occasions.



It was So Sani who opened the scoring in Pontypool after just three minutes, before strike partner Aidan Chappell-Smith (pictured below) doubled the advantage 14 minutes later.



The young City squad went three ahead inside 23 minutes, as first-year professional Abdi Noor found the back of the net with an impressive strike. So Sani's second coming on 38 minutes, with midfielder Jarrad Welch (pictured below) ensuring the Bluebirds went in at the break with a commanding five-goal-lead.



So Sani secured his hat-trick on 65 minutes, before finding the goal twice more on 72 & 80 minutes as City secured a safe passage into the later stages of the competition.
