"City were one down at home to Fulham after Matt Smith had opened the score with a header in the first half. I personally thought we could have won the game but were still on the hunt for our first goal...

"Anthony Pilkington had been given a yellow for handball (disallowed goal) and Sammy Ameobi had come on and made an impact on his début with half an hour still to play. Then, with thirteen minutes to play, Craig Noone had come on.

"I thought that it was game over, but with four minutes of the 90 left, Noone fired an absolute screamer into the goal. It was an awesome time for the supporters and the team to secure a point in the first game of the Championship season."
