Earn your club much-needed fees with help from the Bluebirds...

Cardiff City Football Club understands that football, at the highest level, could not be where it is today without local teams playing park football and volunteers from within the community taking time out of their busy schedules to help develop young minds to be part of the beautiful game.

   

With forever-rising pitch, referee, and building maintenance fees, local clubs - from U7s to adult Sunday league teams - are struggling to break even at the end of each season. Purchasing kit and equipment is becoming more and more of a struggle for some.   

As a professional club, it is our duty to ensure that local grassroots football can be maintained at a good standard - because maybe one day, one of those grassroots players could be leading the Cardiff City front line, scoring a hat-trick in a final or making last minute goal line clearances to save us the game.

This is where our GRASSROOTS REWARDS scheme comes into play. We have devised a way to support local clubs financially and, in the long run, hope that it will improve the overall standard of the grassroots game.

  

HOW DOES THE GRASSROOTS REWARDS SCHEME WORK?  

Your club will request tickets for a Cardiff City FC home league match on a game by game basis and sell to people within your local community. For each ticket your club sells, your club will earn a commission.  

Your club will sell tickets at the reduced rate of £15 per adult and £5 per child. For each adult ticket that you sell, your club will earn a £3 commission. For each junior under 16 ticket that you sell, your club will earn a £1 commission.   

Monies received for tickets as well as any unsold tickets for a fixture will then need to be returned to Cardiff City FC at an  agreed time in advance of the match-day (72 hours prior to kick-off at the latest). Your club’s commission will then be tallied up and, at the end of the season, a cheque will be presented to your club.  

HOW DOES MY CLUB SIGN UP TO THE SCHEME?  

It’s simple. Send an e-mail to grouptickets@cardiffcityfc.co.uk to request an application form and our group ticketing department will get back to you as soon as possible to get you signed up.
